Hi there!
I’m Yuliia, and I’m a vector illustrator. Today, I want to share how artificial intelligence (AI) helps me create unique vector drawings in an easy and fun way.
AI is becoming a big part of our everyday lives, and as artists, it’s important for us to keep up with these new tools. One exciting technology is generative artificial intelligence. But what does that mean? Simply put, it’s a type of AI that can take text prompts and turn them into images! This means you can input what you want to see, and the AI generates different versions based on your description.
Here’s how I use this amazing tool in my own creative process:
Finding Inspiration: When I need a new illustration—let’s say a cute cat—I go to Creative Fabrica's Spark AI in Studio (it's just $9 per month). There, I generate several funny cat images.
Choosing My Favorite: Out of all the generated options, I pick the one that stands out to me the most.
Transforming into Vector Art: After selecting my favorite image, I import it into Adobe Illustrator where I trace over it by hand—this is where my personal touch comes in! Sometimes there are little imperfections (like awkward paws), so I'll fix those while tracing to make everything look just right.

Adding Finishing Touches: Once I've traced the outline and made adjustments, I'll fill in colors or add patterns to complete my artwork!
In another example with chamomile flowers, you'll see how I've drawn the flowers myself but created different shapes for their leaves—adding variety and uniqueness!

What’s great about these finished vector illustrations is that they can be sold online! If you're interested in sharing your own creations on platforms like Creative Fabrica (where you can register using this referral link), let me know! I'd be happy to share more details on getting started.
Feel free to leave any questions or comments below; I'm here to help!
Happy creating!
Yuliia
